A little about my journey

Visual design was my first love; what may have started as random art classes as a child turned into a way of life in college.

But my journey wasn't so straightforward. I did commerce in school while exploring design tools in the evening. I joined Ashoka Univeristy to study economics but found myself in love with sociology, which I felt helped me understand the world and myself so much more. I had an inclination towards academic research, but at the time, I itched to create. I dropped out & took a leap to join Pearl Academy’s communication design course. I haven’t looked back since.

I found the best combination of my interests as an experience designer. At the root of it, the commonality I’ve found in my inclination towards sociology and design has been my interest in the push and pull between people and the systems around them. Fortunately, this curiosity has allowed me to look at the world with more questions than assumptions.

What drives me

I believe that to truly have something is to give it. I found my confusing curiosity & harsh self-criticism gently guided with patience & appreciation, shaping the designer I am today. In the coming years, I hope to mentor others with the same grace.

I enjoy my work more when I have ownership of my projects rather than just executing someone else's idea.

I hope to keep building products that quietly remove life’s little frictions. The kind of work that casually slips into everyday people's conversations & that makes them say "this is not my headache anymore".
